Walker Logistics, one of the UK’s fastest-growing third-party logistics providers, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Membury, Hungerford.

• Setting up new suppliers within our Xero accounting system.
• Opening and posting invoices accurately.
• Daily running of regular aged payables listings for review with the Management Accountant.
• Issuing remittances to suppliers once payments are made.
• Reconciling supplier statements.
• Querying invoices, predominantly related to courier and temporary labour.
• Performing detailed invoice checks in the system to identify any erroneous postings.
• Assisting the Finance Manager and Head of Finance with other duties as required.
