GoodLaw Solicitors LLP are looking for an Accounts Clerk to join our busy Accounts department in Hove on a full time, Monday - Friday basis. We are a vibrant, friendly firm seeking the best talent to join and grow with us. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong interest in accounting, looking for an entry position with the prospect to learn and develop their skills.
This role does not require any prior accounting experience or qualifications, but applicants require a minimum of an A Level in Maths. Training will be provided.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming enquiries to the business, providing a high standard of customer care and directing queries to the appropriate colleague
  • Processing invoices for our suppliers (Purchase Ledger)
  • Administration of expenses
  • Administration of Petty Cash
  • Accurately loading information into our banking systems
  • Processing transactions for third parties e.g. Land Registry / HMCTS
  • Using Xero accounting software (training provided)
  • Assisting with tasks for Month-end/ quarter-end & Year-end reporting
  • Supporting and adhering to our anti-money laundering processes according to firm policy
  • Other administrative tasks to support the team at the appropriate level

Required Qualifications:

  • A Level in Maths
