Kenny’s Group is a family-run business operating in Northern Ireland since 1993, continually expanding with six Kenny’s convenience stores and an online wine store.

SUMMARY

We are seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our central finance support office based at Kennys Foodfare, Kilrea. This role is 23- 30 hours per week. Hours/ working arrangements can be discussed at interview.
This role includes the opportunity to work in both sales ledger and purchase ledger, as well as contributing towards the monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines.
A background in an accounts function would be desirable, with a good working knowledge of Sage and Excel. The ideal candidate would be methodical, flexible and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

SALES LEDGER DUTIES

  • Post daily sales ledger receipts onto SAGE
  • Ensure timely distribution of month end statements
  • Credit Control activities

PURCHASE LEDGER DUTIES

  • Match purchase invoices to delivery docket and code to correct nominal ledger
  • Process monthly payment run following completion of Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Close purchase ledger in line with monthly deadlines
    In addition to the two main areas listed above the role would include flexibility to ensure sufficient cover for absences.
