An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounting Clerk to join our Finance Department on a permanent full time basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will provide accounting and administrative support to the Old Course Hotel across various Finance disciplines.
Your responsibilities will include;
Time & Attendance and Labour Management System support including Audit Schedules, preparation of information for weekly Payroll Meetings, analysis and report generation of Holiday Entitlement, Holiday Balance, Holidays Booked & Taken.
Payroll support including ensuring all shifts in system have punches attached and that all punches are attested, extract & review pay data, preparation of additional payment sheet for review with Senior Managers and submission of pay files to Shared Services Payroll Team
Accounts Payable support including ensuring all commission claims are verified and commission invoices are processed for payment, onboarding new vendors onto SAP and monitoring the Commissions inbox and deal with all queries.
Hamilton Grand HOA support including generating monthly statements in our PMS and email out to each owner, and monitoring HOA inbox and deal with all queries.
Business Accounting support including supporting Finance Analysts with ad hoc duties, AR and AP ad hoc support, attending weekly Ops meetings as required, assist with Cash & Petty Cash procedures, assisting with Credit Card queries and reconciliation.
Accounting close support including preparation of Payroll cut-off accrual journal and Overtime for all Associates, prepare Payroll Holiday Balance accrual journal for Salaried Associates and provide ad hoc month end support
To be successful in this role you will have the following qualities and experience:
Detail-Oriented, accurate work habits are necessary.
Clerical experience is preferred but not required.
Competent user of systems, in particular Excel
Some experience of Hospitality Finance is preferred
