Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Clerk to support the Finance Department with day-to-day accounting operations. The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for data entry, record-keeping, assisting with accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Enter financial transactions into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP system).
  • Process supplier invoices, expense claims, and petty cash requests.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices under supervision.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, supplier statements, and petty cash.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and reports.
  • File and organize invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
  • Support the Finance team in audits and compliance requirements.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounts and payments.
  • Carry out other finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
