JOB SUMMARY

Pinnacle Works Ltd is a growing construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across West Sussex. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Controller to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day financial management of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily accounts operations, including invoicing, reconciliations, and credit control
  • Managing company cash flow, budgets, and forecasting
  • Running payroll and pension contributions
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Working closely with project teams to monitor costs and profitability
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC and industry regulations
  • Using and maintaining Xero Accounting Software effectively

About You:

  • Previous experience in a similar accounts/finance role (construction industry knowledge highly desirable)
  • Proficient in Xero and confident with MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, busy team
  • Proactive and reliable with strong communication skills
