We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team, providing essential financial and administrative support. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a dynamic commercial environment.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • GCSEs (Grade C or above) in English and Maths
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proven experience of working in a Commercial Environment managing Company Accounts
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite, Adobe and Outlook
  • Experience of Sage 50 Accounting Software
  • Professional telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A strong team player with ability to work on own initiative
  • A flexible mindset with a willingness to learn and improve
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day financial administration using Sage 50
  • Process supplier and customer invoicing, payments, reconciliations and statutory returns
  • Produce accurate monthly financial reports and support compliance requirements
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, directors, and external accountants
  • Provide financial documentation for tenders, insurance, and client requests
  • Support internal processes for purchase orders and invoicing
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and reception duties as needed
  • Maintain organised filing systems and ensure document retention compliance
  • Conduct regular audits of job records and financial data
  • Assist the Technical Team with project-related financial insights
