JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team within a fast-paced real estate development company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting project-based financial activities. Prior experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter/ACCA preferred).
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate or construction industry in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Working knowledge of real estate escrow, service charge, and project billing is an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting functions including journal entries, payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
  • Handle invoicing, payments to suppliers, and follow-up on collections from clients.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and MIS reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Process VAT filings, ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow and fund positions.
  • Prepare documentation for audits, bank submissions, and project financing.
  • Track project-related costs, progress payments, escrow-related transactions, and service charge records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and consultants to ensure timely invoicing and payment certifications.
  • Assist in implementing financial controls and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with UAE regulatory requirements.
