QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and tax filing procedures.
• Experience with travel agency systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

• Maintain accurate books of accounts using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Oracle).
• Handle daily accounting functions including A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up for timely payments.
• Reconcile supplier/vendor accounts, especially for hotel bookings, air ticketing, and travel packages.
• Coordinate with operations and sales teams for accurate billing and cost allocation.
• Monitor credit limits and ensure customer accounts are within agreed terms.
• Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports, profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Manage VAT filings in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements.
• Process staff travel expense reimbursements and petty cash accounting.
