This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong foundation in bookkeeping and accounting principles and are eager to build a career in finance and operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing data entry activities, and supporting the accounting team in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations. This position offers valuable exposure to modern accounting practices, financial reporting, transaction management, and business operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining data integrity and compliance with internal processes. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems and records. Maintain and update bookkeeping records, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data. Process invoices, purchase records, and payment-related documentation. Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Update and maintain general ledger entries and accounting records. Track expenses, reconcile financial data, and help resolve discrepancies. Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation as required. Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions and accounting records. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely collection and verification of financial information. Support month-end closing activities, audits, and routine accounting processes. Assist in managing inward and outward financial documentation and transaction records. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. What Makes You a Great Fit Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or data entry operations. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial record management. Hands-on experience with invoice processing and transaction recording. Proficiency in MS Excel and other basic computer applications. Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is an added advantage. Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data handling. Good numerical aptitude and analytical skills. Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Good communication and coordination skills. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Interest in developing expertise in accounting, finance operations, and financial reporting.
