ACCOUNTS & HR ADMINISTRATOR (PROPERTY SECTOR EXPERIENCE ONLY)

Location: 86 Pretoria Road, Rynfield, Benoni

This is not a training position. The successful candidate will only be shown how CalBus Properties operates internally.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, HR, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the property sector (no exceptions)
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAGE, PropWorx, TPN, Lightstone
  • Understanding of payroll, trust accounts, HR onboarding, and SARS compliance
  • Ability to draft legal documentation and coordinate with conveyancers and bond originators
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages an advantage
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts & HR Administrator to support the operational, financial, HR, and growth objectives of CalBus Properties. The ideal candidate will already have relevant property sector experience and require minimal onboarding.
You will be responsible for managing owner accounts, payroll, HR administration, debt recovery, property marketing support, and coordinating the full sales process from offer to transfer. The role is integral to the smooth functioning of all departments and directly supports the company’s strategic service goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. OWNER ACCOUNTS & PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

  • Reconcile and distribute monthly owner statements
  • Load and expense rental files on PropWorx
  • Perform daily trust account bank imports and identify unallocated payments
  • Allocate company operating expenses after import confirmation
  • Monitor arrears and address owner complaints professionally
  • Ensure compliant and accurate property records
