Description

New Maritime Pte. Ltd. is a leading Singaporean ship management and marine fuel logistics company, owning and operating our own fleet of bunker barges with our in-house team.
Working Location : Tai Seng (5 mins walk from Tai Seng MRT)
Responsibilities:

ACCOUNTS

  • Manage and allocate workload to account executives
  • Handle full set of accounts
  • Prepare AP, AR and Journals
  • Manage payroll administration
  • Perform full payroll process and make necessary tax filings promptly
  • Check, verify and process invoices, expense claims and reimbursements etc.
  • Prepare GST filings and CPF submission

HR

  • Develop and post job descriptions, manage job advertisements, and use recruitment platforms to attract candidates.
  • Review resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate with department heads to select suitable candidates.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, training, and introduction to company policies.
  • Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and retention.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Work Pass matters
  • Assist in administering benefits, compensation and any other relevant policies, schemes etc.
  • Assist in swift updates of personnel database and any other related information within the internal HR system
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and office efficiency by arranging repairs
  • Manage employee relations, compliance with employment laws and policy updates
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies, including wage and hour laws and health and safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree/Diploma in Business, Human Resources or related field of study
  • Min 3 years of accounting and HR admin experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws, and other compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels
  • Experience in maritime or related industries would be an advantage.
