We’re expanding and are looking for an Accounts Junior with 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the music industry. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn and progress in the field of Business Management while studying towards ACA/ACCA, with a fully funded study package (including time off to attend courses and exams).
The duties will involve providing accurate accounting and assurance services to a diverse range of clients, as directed by the Manager, within budget and in accordance with firm procedures.

• Inputting data using various software packages such as Sage, Excel, and QuickBooks Online
• Setting up bank payments
• Raising sales invoices
• Recording receipts and reconciling cash/credit card receipts
• Preparing VAT returns
• Assisting with periodic management accounts
• Assisting with the preparation and monitoring of cash flows and budgets
• Assisting in managing tour accounts for clients
• Analysing bank statements
• Maintaining client confidentiality at all times, in accordance with Sopher + Co HR Policies & Procedures
• Becoming familiar with, and working in accordance with, Sopher + Co HR Policies & Procedures
