Temporary Accounts Manager required for Maternity Cover.
The role is 9-5 Monday - Friday (hours negotiable) in our small friendly office in Sydenham with onsite free parking, located just down the road from Lower Sydenham Station.
Must have experience using Sage 50 and Sage Payroll . Knowledge of the Construction industry and CIS schemes also desired but can be taught.
Duties will include :
- Calculating Engineer’s overtime and processing monthly.
- Processing and paying Payroll each month , including returns.
- Submitting pension data.
- Day to Day managing of the bank accounts and updating Sage Accordingly.
- Overseeing and supervising part time Accounts junior who’s main duties include inputting purchase invoices.
- Preparing monthly accounts and submitting these to the directors.
- Submitting VAT returns.
- Using our job system to raise sales invoices for different customers and send these to them.
- Supplier Monthly Payments.
- CIS returns and issuing statements to subcontractors.
- Bank Reconcilation.
- Company Credit Card Reconciliations.
- Liasing with the company accounts to produce quarterly accounts
- Answering Payment Queries from Customers and raising them if needed on different customer internal invoicing systems.
- Credit Control.

Contract length: 16 months
Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
