Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, management reports and financial summaries
  • Analyze P&L performance, revenue, expenses, margins and profitability, and provide insights to management
  • Manage and supervise the Accounts team, ensuring accuracy, timely completion of tasks and proper financial controls
  • Oversee bank, supplier and customer account reconciliations
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections
  • Manage cash flow and highlight potential cash-flow gaps and financial risks to management
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
  • Monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets and analyze variances
  • Analyze landed costs, purchasing costs, logistics expenses and other associated costs
  • Monitor margins and profitability across products and accounts
  • Prepare cost analysis to support pricing and commercial decisions
  • Prepare ROI analysis for marketing activities, events, promotions and other company investments
  • Prepare periodic financial and performance reports for management
  • Coordinate invoicing, dispatch-related financial documentation and reconciliations
  • Support VAT, audit and other financial compliance requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

  • Minimum 3–7 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, with experience supervising or managing an Accounts team
  • UAE experience Mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of P&L, financial reporting, cash-flow management, costing, budgeting and reconciliations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide meaningful financial insights to management
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of accounting/ERP systems
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical, trading or distribution companies would be an advantage
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team, work independently and coordinate effectively across departments
