Your responsibilities

- Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and bank reconciliations.

- Managing construction project accounting, including job costing, progress claims, retention tracking and contract billing.

- Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, including WIP schedules, cash flow projections, annual budgets and forecasts.

- Monitoring and analysing project performance, providing insights and support to the Financial Controller and wider team.

- Ensuring compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements,
