Roles & Responsibilities

1. Oversee complete financial and accounting operations.
2. Manage General Ledger, AP, AR, payroll and fixed assets.
3. Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
4. Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management reports.
5. Handle VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and filings.
6. Manage customer reconciliations, aging reports and collections.
7. Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
8. Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
9. Analyze financial performance, variances and cost-saving opportunities.
10. Coordinate internal and external audits.
11. Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.
12. Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and IFRS.
13. Liaise with auditors, banks, tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
14. Lead, supervise and mentor the finance/accounts team.
15. Prepare ADHOC financial reports as required by management.
16. Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by management within the group.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
2. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
3. Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel.
4. Strong financial analysis, reporting and reconciliation skills.
5. Excellent leadership and team-management abilities.
6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
7. UAE experience in a group/company environment would be an advantage.
