POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounting Office Manager is responsible for supervising all aspects of the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, as well as ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. This role requires a highly organized individual who can handle financial responsibilities while also coordinating office tasks, resources, and communication to support overall business operations.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:ACCOUNTING DUTIES:

  • Oversee and manage all accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
  • Process vendor invoices, issue payments, and maintain vendor records
  • Monitor tenant rent collections and follow up on arrears
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with monthly and year-end reporting
  • Use accounting software to manage and track financial transactions
  • Collaborate with property managers and head office to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data

OFFICE MANAGEMENT DUTIES:

  • Ensure smooth daily operation of the office, including supplies, scheduling, and internal coordination
  • Manage office communication, filing systems, and recordkeeping
  • Coordinate with maintenance, leasing, and admin teams to support operations
  • Support scheduling of meetings, appointments, and internal communications
  • Act as a central point of contact for office-related inquiries and tasks
  • Maintain a well-organized, efficient, and professional office environment
