SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer/Administration Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, preparing client quotes, placing orders, general administration, answering client enquiries via phone and email.
The ideal candidate will have experience using Reckon and ConnectWise, or similar accounting and ticketing systems.
This is a casual position offering approximately 24 - 30 hours per week, with flexible working hours to accommodate business needs and individual availability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greeting clients and professionally handling incoming phone enquiries
  • Process and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Preparing and issuing customer invoices and account statements
  • Conduct timely follow-ups on outstanding payments through effective debt collection practices
  • Assisting walk-in clients and addressing customer enquiries efficiently
  • Creating jobs within ConnectWise PSA
  • Assist with preparing client quotations and coordinating the purchasing of goods
  • Assist with ordering and managing Microsoft 365 licensing
  • Receiving incoming freight and organising the timely dispatch of goods to clients
  • Handling the processing and coordination of warranty claims
  • Conducting banking and managing mail runs as required
  • Providing general administrative support and assisting the Office Manager and internal team with ad hoc tasks
