Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager (Accountant), the selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in preparing Management accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for C-lab in a timely manner. What you will be doing: Maintain the General Ledger and accounting records of the Company. Prepare bank reconciliation statement. Ensure completeness and correctness of billing. Account for receipts and allocate them against debtors’ accounts. Assist in stock counts. Prepare relevant schedules for monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting. Assist in the preparation of budget and forecast exercise. Actively coordinate with the team to ensure day-to-day good running of the department including accounts payables, billing, banking, receivables, etc. Liaise with external parties such as bank or auditors Follow up of debtors and creditors. Prepare periodic tax / statutory returns. Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support the accounting team and the business in meeting its deadlines and achieving its objectives. Maintain the Company’s Fixed Asset Register and perform periodic physical verification of assets. What are we looking for? Degree in Accounting & Finance or at least ACCA level 2. Good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and regulations. Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in a similar position. Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables and Excel formulas. Proactive and attentive to details. Good time management skills. Good team player with a willingness to learn.
