About the role

This is a varied, hands-on administration position where no two days are the same. You will provide general administration and day-to-day office support for a growing, locally owned and operated solar company specialising in residential and commercial solar and battery installations.

Key responsibilities

• General administration and day-to-day office support
• Answering phone calls, responding to emails and managing customer enquiries
• Providing friendly and professional reception services
• Preparing, submitting and following up on solar and battery applications, including Synergy, Western Power and Plenti approvals
• Managing customer documentation and installation paperwork
• Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems
• Liaising with customers and installers
• Assisting with job scheduling and coordinating installations
• Supporting the management team with general administrative duties

About you

• Previous administration or reception experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organised, reliable and has great attention to detail
• Can confidently use Microsoft Office and computer systems
• Can multitask and manage priorities
• Positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team
• Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Solar or electrical industry experience would be an advantage but is not essential
