  • Process and code supplier invoices in Xero and ApprovalMax, including managing approval workflows and preparing payments.
  • Prepare and process mid-month and end-of-month supplier payments.
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up outstanding payments professionally.
  • Complete bank and credit card reconciliations in Xero, investigating and resolving unreconciled transactions.
  • Code transactions accurately to the correct accounts and entities, applying the appropriate GST treatment.
  • Prepare manual and ad hoc customer invoices.
  • Monitor customer credit scores and credit limits, and process credit applications for new customers and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate supplier, customer and financial records, including attaching supporting documents in Xero.
  • Assist the Head of Accounts with month-end activities.
  • Maintain organised financial records and filing systems.
  • Undertake other finance and administrative duties as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and fluctuating workloads in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • A strong sense of accountability and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A genuine commitment to providing helpful and professional support.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and collaboration skills.
