Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to the high volume currently being experienced, we are seeking a temporary, full-time Accounts Officer to support our Finance team. This role will involve bookkeeping activities and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our day-to-day business.
In this role, you will support in several key functions including, but not limited to:
- Processing of supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Regular maintenance of recurring weekly and monthly payments
- Processing invoices for payment via EFT/internet banking, cheque, and credit card
- Reconciliation of corporate credit cards
- Assist the Financial Accountant with cash flow forecasting as required
- Setting up new suppliers in the system whilst maintaining existing ones
- Completion of supplier credit applications
- Monitoring and controlling corporate credit card expenditure.
- Reconciling supplier statements at the end of each month
- Respond to suppliers’ queries in a timely manner
- Maintenance of filing records for suppliers
- Assist with payroll
- Assist in accounts receivable
- Debt collection
- Setting up direct debits for customers and collection
- Customers queries and payment processing
- Releasing repeating AR invoices
- Undertake general administrative tasks as required
