Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to the high volume currently being experienced, we are seeking a temporary, full-time Accounts Officer to support our Finance team. This role will involve bookkeeping activities and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our day-to-day business.

In this role, you will support in several key functions including, but not limited to:

  • Processing of supplier invoices and credit notes.
  • Regular maintenance of recurring weekly and monthly payments
  • Processing invoices for payment via EFT/internet banking, cheque, and credit card
  • Reconciliation of corporate credit cards
  • Assist the Financial Accountant with cash flow forecasting as required
  • Setting up new suppliers in the system whilst maintaining existing ones
  • Completion of supplier credit applications
  • Monitoring and controlling corporate credit card expenditure.
  • Reconciling supplier statements at the end of each month
  • Respond to suppliers’ queries in a timely manner
  • Maintenance of filing records for suppliers
  • Assist with payroll
  • Assist in accounts receivable
  • Debt collection
  • Setting up direct debits for customers and collection
  • Customers queries and payment processing
  • Releasing repeating AR invoices
  • Undertake general administrative tasks as required
