We are currently recruiting for a detail oriented and self-motivated Accounts Payable Administrator based out of our corporate office in San Luis Obispo.
The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate data capture of vendor invoices, credit memos, adjustments and department coding. The Accounts Payable Administrator will be responsible for auditing internal reports for accuracy and corrective action as necessary. This position will also distribute all A/P correspondence to appropriate personnel, interface with vendors, and perform all clerical duties associated with the position and in support of Corporate Services.

  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a dedicated AP capacity required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience with AP modernization tools and technologies.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTS PAYABLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate current AP processes and identify areas of improvement.
  • Guide the implementation of modern AP technologies and software solutions.
  • Code, accrue, and pay accounts payable invoices.
  • Expense sheet processing.
  • Maintain and track vendor records, including W-9 Forms and Certificates of Liability Insurance.
  • Monitor, review, and upload reproduction activity.
  • Manage company issued credit cards.
  • Champion annual filings related to accounts payable, including flagging invoices for use tax and 1099 processing.
  • Manage Business License renewals

ESSENTIAL OFFICE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Order supplies and monitor office inventory.
  • Pick up and distribute mail.
  • Prepare shipments.
  • Manage storage and copier services.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
