About the role: As part of the Finance team, the Accounts Payable Administrator role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient process of the accounts payable functions, specifically the processing of EDI invoices in a timely manner to meet required month and period end timelines. Some of your role scope includes: -Enter all coded and authorised invoices into the finance system accurately. -Entry of EDI supplier import files into the finance system. -Prepare accrual and prepayment journals for key suppliers for EDI. -Complete EDI supplier statement reconciliations. -Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs. -Process Concur expense claims, ensuring compliance with RBD Travel & Expense policies. -Maintain Concur user administration and cost/profit centre administration. -Resolve internal and external accounts payable queries promptly and professionally. -Generate financial reports and maintain accurate financial records. -Work collaboratively with the Accounts Payable Manager to develop and implement best-practice procedures within the Accounts Payable function. -Develop knowledge across broader administrative functions to provide team support when required. -Undertake additional duties and projects as directed by the Accounts Payable Manager. What you will bring to the role: -A minimum of 4 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role. -The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of tasks. -Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting systems. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders. -Well-developed problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues. -A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture. -Experience using SAP (or similar ERP finance system) is desirable.
