JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing invoice processing and maintaining accurate financial records. You will ensure all incoming invoices are handled efficiently using SAP, and collaborate with various teams to improve processes and resolve issues.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s.
  • Experience with three-way matching.
  • Experience working with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or a High School Diploma with high volume Accounts Payable experience.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle all incoming invoices using SAP, ensuring accurate coding and matching with purchase orders.
  • Verify billing documents for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
  • Interpret and communicate accounting policies as necessary.
  • Maintain vendor information up-to-date in SAP.
  • Meet processing deadlines, especially at quarter and year-end.
  • Provide support and address inquiries from vendors and internal teams.
  • Investigate past due balances and overpayments, and obtain refunds when necessary.
  • Run and review monthly Accounts Payable Aging Reports.
  • Prepare documentation for auditors.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team to resolve issues and improve processes.
