Job Description Sutherland is looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Analyst/Specialist to support one of our growing retail programs within the client site in Chesapeake, VA. Reporting, insights, and optimization. As an AP Analyst/Specialist you'll get to: Analyze AP trends (aging, early-pay discounts, late fees) Create dashboards and monitor KPIs Identify process bottlenecks & optimize the same Support audits with data Produce reports, data insights Example Metrics: AP aging dashboard Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) Early payment discount utilization Vendor performance metrics/KPIs Approval cycle times SLA adherence (invoice-to-pay times) Ensure compliance with internal controls Qualifications 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience in an AP Analyst or AP Supervisor role Lawson ERP knowledge/experience will be a major plus Customer-oriented attitude in handling first level of communications and issues Capacity to efficiently manage time and keep track of multiple schedules Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
