We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable and Customs Clerk to join our administrative team and support our finance department in managing the accounts payable and customs functions.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Accounts Payable and Customs Clerk will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, managing payment schedules, assisting with month-end reconciliations and assisting the traffic team with tariff and other customs details. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment while upholding the high standards of Trackless Vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
· Familiarity with online banking applications an asset.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

· Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely payments.
· Monitor vendor accounts for overdue payments and follow up as required.
· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
· Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
· Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
· Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and internal staff regarding account matters.
· Maintain up to date listing of tariff rates and customs requirements for international shipping of both USMCA and non-USMCA whole goods and parts
· Provide support to the Controller, finance team, and Customs/Parts teams as needed.
