PAUL BYRON : ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Roscommon Town
Contract: 30-37.5 hrs per week

Here at Paul Byron we’re on the lookout for a detail-oriented and highly organised Accounts Payable & Payroll Administrator to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounts and payroll, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll administration
  • Proficient in Sage and Xero accounting software
  • Experience using HRIS systems, ideally Alkimii
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups etc.)
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality
Responsibilities
  • Managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, including processing supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payment runs
  • Handling payroll processing accurately and on time
  • Maintaining and updating financial records across Sage and Xero
  • Using HRIS systems such as Alkimii for time, attendance, and payroll integration
  • Managing employee expenses and resolving any discrepancies
  • Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting
  • Collaborating closely with HR and finance teams
