Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist - FT - Remote or Onsite Job Description We are looking for a detailed orientated, creative problem-solving, self-starter to join our organization in this brand new role.  You will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions and managing and processing payroll.  OMC currently has 300 employees and is growing!  We will consider candidates wishing to work fully remote, hybrid, or on-site for this role. Typical Schedule Monday through Friday, daytime hours, 40 hours per week. Qualifications * Minimum of two years experience in accounts payable  and payroll processing, required. * Experience working with Sage Intacct accounting software and ADP Workforce Now, or similar software, required. * Experience processing payroll for a large organization, preferred. * Healthcare experience, preferred. Responsibilities Include: * Processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. * Reconciling vendor invoices and resolving discrepancies. * Preparing and posting journal entries. * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor records. * Assisting with month end closing. * Generating and analyzing financial reports.  * Collaborating with other members of the Finance team to ensure compliance accounting standards. * Updating financial records. * Providing assistance with technical accounting issues. * Processing accurate and timely payroll. * Maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, entering, and auditing data. * Updating payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, deductions, direct deposit, etc. * Maintaining payroll operations by following procedures, understanding proper taxation, garnishments, and required reporting. * Preparing required government reports including EEO, ACA, etc.  * Performing customer service functions by answering employee questions promptly and professionally.  * Protecting the confidentiality of all information and data.   Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures. * Familiarity with corporate accounting principles and practices. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent attention to detail, time management, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Enthusiasm for planning and managing multiple projects and tasks. * Critical to maintain high levels of confidentiality with private and crucial information. Must manage sensitive and confidential matters. * Ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels. * Strong computer, interpersonal and organizational skills.
