Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable & Receivable Administrator to manage financial transactions for our Dealer Program, Grain systems and retail sales. This role will focus on ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, invoicing, reconciliations, and customer account management. With a primary focus on receivables. Experience with Thede Ward software is highly desirable, as is familiarity with the agriculture sector. The key responsibilities below outline the expectations for this role; however, as a small and growing business, we value a team-oriented approach and appreciate employees who demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to support wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounts payable and receivable activities for Jackson Seed Service
  • Accurately process invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts on a regular basis
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables
  • Maintain detailed records of dealer transactions and communication
  • Collaborate with internal teams on dealer pricing, billing, and financial documentation
  • Generate and distribute monthly account statements and reports
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing reconciliation processes
  • Support other administrative functions, including document filing and data entry
  • Learn and advance skills with the Thede Ward software, if needed
  • Assist with other AR/AP duties or payroll services if required
  • Additional administrative duties as required or assigned. Small business with a desire for employees to offer assistance in any facets of the operation during busy times.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable, preferably in an agricultural or dealership environment
  • Familiarity with Thede Ward software is a strong asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Agricultural background or knowledge of agribusiness is considered an asset
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in accounting, business, or a related field is an asset

Pay: $45,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
