A vacancy has arisen in the busy Central Accounts Payable section that provides an invoice payment service for the whole Authority; making payments in excess of £1.7Bn each year. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an eye for detail who is willing to learn and confident working in a busy environment to strict deadlines. You will provide clerical support within the central accounts payable section by processing supplier invoices and uploading payment files. You will be trained in our control procedures and carry out important control checks. You will also deal with supplier and client enquiries and provide advice on payment related matters.
