Description

Our global IT client based in Cirencester offering a multitude of benefits, is recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision is desirable but not essential
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to deal with a high-volume workload.
  • Take ownership of specific accounts and understand how they work.
Responsibilities
  • Taking full responsibility for specific accounts from processing invoices to ensuring payments are issued
  • Process invoices in accordance with company procedures
  • Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.
  • Follow up all reconciling items to ensure completeness of statement reconciliation
  • Liaise with suppliers and personnel to ensure all queries are resolved prior to supplier payment date
  • Recommend supplier payments for schedule payment run.
  • Issue upfront payments via PayPal/Credit Card and Telegraphic Transfer
  • Allocate supplier payments by BACS, TTs, DDs & Credit Cards
  • Ensure that all refunds from suppliers are processed on to the ledger on a timely basis
  • Ensure that credits and payments from suppliers in settlement of returns is made in accordance with agreed terms and conditions
  • Process credits received in respect of ‘returns for credit’
  • Complete and return all supplier application forms and Direct Debit Mandates
