ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT/ PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK

Location: London Lant Street, Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday–Friday, 9:30am–5:30pm or as agreed)
Reporting to: Senior Accounts Assistant

The Role:
Recorra is seeking a highly organised and proactive Accounts Payable Assistant to support our Finance Team with managing accounts payable, supplier transactions, and financial reporting processes. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of our financial records, ensuring timely payments, and supporting monthly close processes.
Reporting to the Senior Accounts Assistant , you’ll be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with expenses and credit card reviews. ABOUT YOU:

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will bring a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills to the role. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy finance environment and is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.
You’ll need to demonstrate:
Experience working within accounts payable or a similar finance role
Confidence in processing high volumes of transactions with accuracy
Strong organisational and time-management skills
A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to support the wider finance team
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and finance systems
