Job description
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT - ENTERTAINMENT PROVIDERS - PAYING UP TO £30,000 - BASED IN LONDON - IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join an exciting and growing Entertainment Providers Company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the accounts payable function and ensuring that all invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.
Experience with QuickBooks software is essential for this role, and the ideal candidate must be immediately available to start.

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks software is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
A proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
Immediate availability is required.
Experience working within a fast-paced finance department.
Knowledge of VAT and basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
Process and verify purchase invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure all invoices are accurately entered into the QuickBooks system for payment.
Assist in reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
Prepare payment runs and ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of payments and outstanding invoices.
Respond to supplier queries in a professional and efficient manner.
Support the wider finance team with month-end processes and reporting.
Assist in the maintenance and improvement of accounts payable processes.
Ad-hoc administrative duties as required within the finance department.
