Wagner is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support our Accounting team during a temporary assignment from September through January. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts payable or general accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. If you're organized, accurate, and enjoy problem-solving while building positive relationships with vendors and internal teams, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do As an Accounts Payable Associate, you'll play an important role in ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time by: Processing vendor invoices and matching them to purchase orders Coding invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts Preparing weekly check runs and electronic payments Reconciling accounts payable transactions Resolving vendor questions and payment issues professionally Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities Supporting audits and maintaining organized financial records Collaborating with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Accounting to ensure timely invoice processing Requirements What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent 1–2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience Strong Microsoft Office skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Professional communication and customer service skills Why Wagner?
