Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and supporting documents.
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
  • Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and credit/debit notes.
  • Perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on pending payments.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports as required by management.
  • Assist in VATrelated accounting and documentation, as applicable.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
  • Ensure accounting entries are accurate and comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding accounting matters.
  • Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.
  • support custom clearance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0.5–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Good understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and invoicing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software such as Tally.
  • Experience in VAT accounting and compliance is preferred.
  • Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Candidates with GCC/UAE accounting experience will be preferred.
