POSITION OVERVIEW

The responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Front desk reception and general office duties
· Process incoming payments
· Reconcile daily cash flow and prepare bank deposits
· Maintain accounts payable system; process purchase invoices for payment
· Recreation centre bookings with appropriate applications and permits
· Issue and report building permits and demolitions
· Lottery licensing responsibilities
· Coordinate letters and contracts for the marina and Raven Park Campground
· Other administrative duties, as required
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Compensation: To commensurate with experience and an excellent benefit package

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Grade 12 academic standing or equivalent.
· Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration, or finance is an asset
· Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures for recording revenue and collections.
· Ability to be tactful, diplomatic, and sincere with the public.
· Must clear Criminal Record Check
· Municipal government experience preferred
· Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
