Lucky Star Marketing is a proud family owned and operated business, and has been a leading agricultural grower and distributor of fresh Asian fruits and vegetables for over 40-years (through our founding company Lucky Farms). Our headquarters is located in sunny San Bernardino California and we have farming fields throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. You will work closely with our finance and operations teams to maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and contribute to the overall efficiency of our financial processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar finance role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and ERP/WMS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the Asian produce industry or related field is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices for produce and related services.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, including check and electronic payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve any billing issues.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to address customer credit and payment issues.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations.
  • Monitor and report on accounts payable aging and cash flow.
  • Contribute to the improvement of accounts payable processes and procedures.
