This position involves meticulously verifying invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports, coding them correctly, and adhering to established approval workflows. Daily tasks include preparing and executing payments via various methods, reconciling vendor statements, and addressing any discrepancies that arise. This role demands a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of managing a high volume of transactions while upholding financial accuracy and integrity. In This Role, You Will: Enter invoices into the accounts payable system in accordance with established procedures. Open and date-stamp invoices as they are received. Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Reconcile monthly statements from vendors to ensure accuracy. Prepare and post journal entries as needed. Process purchase orders and reconcile them with corresponding invoices.
