We’re seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk - Administrator to join our client’s team in Etobicoke. AS an AP clerk - Administrator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring related invoices are recorded in a timely manner and that suppliers/vendors are paid within their negotiated terms.

Responsibilities
  • High-volume accounts payables, HST filings, monthly bank reconciliations and draws, general bookkeeping, and assisting with the preparation of year end working papers.
  • Provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. Complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Ensure day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor the centralized inbox for invoices from suppliers/vendors to ensure liabilities are recorded in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accuracy and documentation of all pieces of the accounts payable function, including accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, payments, data entry, and filing.
  • Ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices from suppliers/vendors and reimbursement of employee expenses.
  • Find improvements and efficiencies for processing and departmental internal controls.
