Description

Global Systems Engineering (GSE) is an SBA-certified HUBZone small business that supports the federal government with a variety of advisory and technical consulting services. We are currently seeking a motivated, self-driven Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team providing part-time support to our internal Finance Team, reporting to the Accounting Manager. Support services may include administrative functions, data entry, as well as internal and external data calls.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS Diploma required.
  • Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two (2) years of recent and relevant experience related to accounts payable data entry in a consulting firm environment.
Responsibilities
  • Compute, track, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete.
  • Enter data for accounting processes.
  • Run various reports in financial systems.
  • Check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions recorded by others.
  • Maintain records of historical execution and related documentation.
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
