Description Summary: To accurately process vendor information and payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, recording and processing accounts payable data and keeping records of all invoices Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and credits are accounted for and properly posted Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements Generate reports detailing accounts payable status Processing and issuing ACH and check payments on a weekly basis Understanding compliance issues around accounts payable process (W-9, sales tax, Certificates of insurance, etc.) Understanding the purchase order process and assisting with any issues Attendance and Punctuality are critical. This position needs to report to work as scheduled Attend all required company meetings Compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity rules and guidelines Ability to appear at work as scheduled, mindful of the company’s attendance policies Ability to accept direction from managers and supervisors Competencies: Communication Ethical Practice Relationship Management.
