Role: Assumes responsibility for data entry of invoices for goods and services necessary for the basic operations of Rogue Credit Union. Performs various clerical accounting functions. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 80% Enters approved invoices and expense reimbursement requests into the accounts payable system 10% Files processed invoices and documentation support for the accounting department. 5% Distributes reports and materials to appropriate individuals. 5% Proactively performs other related duties as needed or assigned. Knowledge & Skills: Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience. Education: A high school education or GED. Interpersonal Skills: Work normally involves contact with people beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside Contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors) requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information. Other Skills: Basic math skills. 10-key calculator by touch. Computer proficient with Microsoft Office; excellent Excel/spreadsheet software skills, Keyboarding skills. Good organizational and time management skills; able to manage workload/meet deadlines. Good eye for detail and accuracy. Thorough. Good communication skills: excellent telephone skills with ability to obtain/relay information. Must display flexibility with work. Physical Requirements: Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds), continuous sitting, occasional standing and occasional walking. Finger dexterity while using computer. Occasional talking and hearing in person and on the telephone. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Work Environment: A normal workday with occasional overtime. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery. May require working Saturdays or Sunday.
