SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks related to the accounts payable function. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the company’s overall financial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
