Accounts Payable Clerk Join the Open Door Mission's team of dedicated staff who are committed to full-time Christian ministry and breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty! ABOUT THIS POSITION The Accounts Payable Clerk provides accounting/bookkeeping support for Chief Financial Officer in the areas of accounts payable and other financial areas as needed. Provides support/reports for other departments. RESPONSIBILITIES A full job description will be provided for review during the interview process. * Responsible for accurately entering purchase orders into the accounting system. * Maintain processed check requests and all other accounts payable/purchase order filing. * Monitor bank accounts to ensure checks have cleared and to monitor available cash balance. * Reconcile vendor statements with invoices and communicate with vendors about statements. * Exemplify Jesus Christ daily, sharing the gospel or praying with others as opportunities arise. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Two or more years of Accounts Payable (all aspects) experience AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE... * Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * A visible, growing, and committed relationship with Christ, based on knowledge of scripture and life experience. * Consistent attendance at and involvement with a local Christian church.
