JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an organized, efficient data entry billing clerk with an eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
To succeed as an data entry/billing clerk, you should be a skilled multi-tasker with excellent time management, computer, and communication skills. Candidates should understand and abide by all accounting procedures and principles and have a commitment to behaving ethically in the workplace.

DATA ENTRY/BILLING CLERK REQUIREMENTS:

• Type accurately with competency in MS Excel.
• Data entry and work processing skills.
• Well organized with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and a team-player who works well with staff and executives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A high school diploma.
• Associate degree or relevant certification in Accounting is a plus

  Pay: Based on verified experience

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department and executive team.
• Communicate with motor carriers on discrepancies and other matters.
• Process motor carriers paperwork for billing and weekly settlement.
• Review weekly billing.
• Follow-up on missing paperwork.
• Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
• Assist the accounting team with researching, tracking, documenting and resolving discrepancies.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
