Robert Half is looking for an AP Associate for a local food distribution company in Windsor, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing payment processes, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and partners. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a fast-paced environment.

• Process and record invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Perform coding of invoices and resolve discrepancies to maintain smooth payment operations.
• Conduct three-way matching to verify accuracy between purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
• Track and monitor payments to ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Manager and other team members to address issues and improve workflows.
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Provide support during financial audits by preparing relevant documentation.
• Communicate professionally with vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
• Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, coding, and resolving discrepancies.
• Proficiency in performing three-way matching for purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
• Familiarity with check processing and payment tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for clear and effective interaction with vendors and internal teams.
