Our client in Calgary is seeking a reliable Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract position. This role involves full-cycle A/P duties in a multi-entity environment and requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of full-cycle A/P experience
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); IFS and JDE experience a plus
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Canadian taxes
Excellent accuracy, organization, and communication skills
Available to start immediately
Review vendor statements and invoices; ensure timely and accurate processing
Perform 3-way PO matching and verify approvals and coding
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues
Reconcile accounts and maintain organized financial records
Manage shared A/P inbox and follow company procedures
Ad-hoc duties as requested
