We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Shelburne, Ontario. In this role, you will manage high volumes of invoices and play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records for our wholesale distribution business. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Process a high volume of invoices efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely payments.
• Perform 3-way matching to reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
• Review and verify invoice details for accuracy, including coding and approvals.
• Enter financial data into systems with precision and maintain up-to-date records.
• Reconcile accounts payable balances and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address and resolve payment issues.
• Generate reports and summaries using advanced Excel functions to support financial analysis.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures during the accounts payable process.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Utilize SAP to manage financial data and streamline processes effectively.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Proficiency in invoice processing, 3-way matching, and account reconciliation.
• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Experience working with SAP or similar financial systems.
• Ability to manage high volumes of transactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and vendors.
